3 Lot Subdivision & Access Drive

In order to subdivide three relatively large parcels of land so that an additional two lots could be created, it was necessary to create an access driveway between two of the allotments to then service the created rear allotments.  However, because of the steeply sloping nature of the site, the creation of the subdivision raised a number of engineering & geotechnical problems and construction problems.  Another complicating feature was the very limited access to the property as a whole from the street.

SCE was engaged by the three property owners to undertake the necessary geotechnical studies and then prepare the engineering design for the access driveway.  Subsequently, SCE undertook limited construction review of the subdivision works.
