Although in past years SCE offered a complete suite of geotechnical services including drilling investigations and residential geotechnical reports, SCE now specialises in the 'engineering & analysis' aspects of geotechnical engineering, and focuses on:
- The investigation, design & construction review of land instability control systems.
- Geotechnical analysis, slope & cliff stability assessments.
- Risk Assessment and Hazard Management.
- Planning studies, geotechnical hazard identification & maps.
SCE currently does not prepare the general geotechnical reports and site classifications for residential projects usually required for development consent by a Council / Consent Authority or reports related to the removal of trees on sloping sites under the recent bushfire legislation.
